Forgotten Series Ft: Vanessa Huxtable.

Vanessa is constantly overlooked and not praised as the beautiful naturalista and fashion icon she is. Her older sibling Denise is often praised for her aesthetic but Vanessa is barely mentioned. I’m certain that her complexion played a factor.

Vanessa was an intelligent individual who inspired me through not only fashion but her way of thinking captivated me. She had her own mind and the older she got her way of thinking got her into trouble but I saw something more complex. Vanessa was rarely paid any attention as her older siblings Theo and Denise were always the main concern. Vanessa was extremely rebellious and wasn’t easily swayed which caused a problem in the Cosby household.
