So I’m part of this Arab culture club at my uni and I’ve been upset ‘cause every time there’s been an event so far this quarter I’ve had to work, and it’s almost always been on a Thursday (and of course when there’s not an event I’m not scheduled), but there’s gonna be like an Arab cultural night with all kinds of good shit next Thursday and I am scheduled again and the schedule was just released today and I work tomorrow so I’m gonna see if I can switch with someone ‘cause there’s two people closing on Friday and I just really wanna go to this

Also, related to my Arab culture feels, today one of the kids in my Arabic class from Qatar was talking to me and he was saying things to me like “y'know that feel when you’re Arab and” and I could relate!!! And add onto his jokes and it’s probably been the most affirming thing that has happened to me so far with my identity struggling ass
